Command G42 - cutter
compensation right.
The G42 command
(G-code) assigns a tool offset to the right, that is, shifts the cutting tool to theright
of the tool path to compensate for the size of the cutting tool used.
To implement the
above correction, the radius or diameter of the cutting tool is programmed in
word D.
If the offset value
specified by the radius or diameter of the tool in the D word is negative, the
tool correction will be performed as if the
G41 command was set
(cutter compensation to the left).
The command G42 is modal.
G42 is included in the modal group
7 (Units) (G40,G41,G42).
