The Drilling tab
for Intuwiz G-code Generator is shown in Figure 1 below.
Figure 1.
The tab "Drilling"
contains controls that allow you to go to the dialog boxes (wizards) for
entering the necessary values for calculating and preparing CNC programs for the
following operations:
- Drilling a group
of holes located on the same line;
- Drilling a group
of holes at arbitrary specified coordinates of the centers of the holes;
- Drilling a group
of holes located on one arc;
- Drilling a group
of holes located on a circle;
- Drilling a group
of holes arranged in a rectangular grid;
- A threading cycle
in accordance with G84;
- Drilling a group
of holes located along a rectangular contour;
When creating a CNC
program for drilling holes located on one circle, the user has the opportunity
to use both a wizard for entering data with a direct entry of the number of
holes, and wizards for entering data with an already fixed number of holes.
An example of a
dialog for entering data to create a CNC program for a numerical control system
for drilling 12 holes evenly spaced around the circumference is presented below.
